Our Volunteers

1. Ms. Vénitia Langlois,
Canada and she is a nursing student. she will be volunteers for 4 week ( 02 – 27 July 2013 )
She started working with us as Child Care from 3rd-26th  July 2013, (Couple), she worked very well with the children, she has much passionate and care the children well from their hearts, it is big blessings for us to have her, BTW, I went to the center and found that, the children like and her them a lot. Thanks Veni for the wonderful work and please continue to work for the children. from HHC Team








2. Mr. Thomas Laberge Briere,

Canada and he have Bachelor in Economics,  Also he will be volunteer for 4 weeks ( 02 – 27 July 2013 )
He started working with us as Child Care from 3rd-26th  July 2013, (Couple), he worked very well with the children, he has much passionate and care the children well from their hearts, it is big blessings for us to have him, BTW, I went to the center and found that, the children like and him them a lot. 3. Madison De Zilva

Currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing
Passed all first year and first half of second year subjects with HD and D.
Hospital placements at Royal Melbourne Hospital- rehab ward and trauma/plastics ward, Northern Hospital Psychiatric Ward.
















4. Rachel Fiona Gibson
I am a 21 year old University of Queensland student, studying my 3rd year of Occupational Therapy. I am applying for a volunteer position at an orphanage in Phnom Penh from the 6th of January to the 2nd of February, over my university holidays.
 I have particular experience in working with people with a disability and work for the Cerebral Palsy League as a support worker and in respite care. I facilitate a drama group for children and young adults with a disability. My responsibilities include leading group activities, providing personal care support for clients (gastro-feeding, toileting, using an epi-pen etc.) and participating in performances. I also work one on one with children with a disability (respite care) and as a support worker for vacation care programs. I love my job and am passionate about working with people with a disability, empowering them and enabling independence. These opportunities have given me a foundation in engaging enthusiastically with people with a disability and working within a multidisciplinary team. 






5. Ms. Miriam Wood

 She has experiences on participative role in a program to get young people involved in improving the new Royal Children’s Hospital. This involved a range of activities and providing my opinion on various issues.

 








6. Ms. Rachel W

 A good communicator with a high level of self motivation, excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a high and varied work load with a high level of accuracy. I am successful at working on my own initiative or as part of a team. I have many years’ experience in fast changing, high pressured business environments.

 
   
 

 
 
7. Mr. Damon Perillo
I am known to be a very effective and efficient worker, who can learn new things quite easily and require little supervision when performing tasks. I have plenty of experience in customer service, an essential skill which I have learnt working at LaManna Direct.
